Busy Relaxation

Where does the weekend go?

These past two weeks have been hectic but my parents came out to visit me this weekend and I finally could relax a bit. Though we were busy, it was great to catch up and just enjoy each other’s company. We stayed with my grandparents Friday night and Saturday we enjoyed a huge classic breakfast.

Very rarely do I get treated to such a feast but breakfast has to be one of my favorite meals. My grandpa makes the BEST pancakes. I could eat 10 of them at a time but I try to resist.

Saturday was busy with a little  toy shopping for my younger cousins and watching a pitiful football game.  We also enjoyed these big mamas later Saturday night.

This is only half. 🙂

Sunday morning I did a 4 mile run to make up for my laziness on Saturday, and then met my parents for breakfast at Panera. We had yummy souffles, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches.

And coffee, lots and lots of coffee.

Then it was back to busyness and homework. Group projects, quizzes, and lots of reading.

But this weekend allowed me to relax and enjoy it with the my awesome family.

What are some of your favorite activities to do with your family/friends?
