A Spring-like Breakfast

Lately the weather has been gorgeous.

A few not so nice days but give me some warm breezes and sunshine and I’ll call it a beautiful day.

So despite the worst headache of my life yesterday a minor blimp in my day, I was able to enjoy the first signs of spring.

Even though I konw it won’t stay like this consistently, I’m okay with it, because it is only March.

But every nice day brings a bit more pep in our step.

Today’s breakfast was a celebration to coming spring and a treat for my sore abs from yesterday’s workout and awful headache.

Oatmeal with applesauce and almond butter, topped with fresh strawberries.

Adding applesauce helps sweeten my oatmeal and help the almond butter distribute better. Plus it tastes delicious!
