Three Things I’m Loving

Whoops, guess I never published this on Friday so you all just get an extra treat today.

Are you enjoying the weekend? I know I am. I’m enjoying this beautiful weather and the start of fall wayy too much, I just want it to stick around forever. Which is probably reflected in what I’m loving right now:

1) Honeycrisp Apple Yankee Candle

Apple candles are my favorite especially in September/October when the weather is still a little warm but cool and crisp in the morning and evenings. I love me some pumpkin spice and similar scents but it’s not quite the right season for those just yet. In a couple weeks, yes. For now, I’m just being patient and loving this candle.

Wow- sorry for the rant. Also, this is the first time I’ve lived off-campus and can burn candles, woo-hoo!

2) Acorn Squash

So I know I touched on this a little yesterday, but I had it for dinner again and omg so good. This time it was just baked with salt and pepper but just as delicious. Acorn squash is also a little more manageable than butternut or spaghetti squash (mainly in size) but I’ll be breaking out those soon too.

3) My clean yoga mat.

Since I’ve been practicing yoga a lot more recently, I noticed how dirty my mat was (and am ashamed to say it hadn’t been cleaned since I received it for a couple years. Last weekend, I scrubbed it with good old soap and water and now am noticing a new gleam to it plus it smells fresh! Definitely something I plan on doing a lot more often now.
